If you knew that you were going to be blind in less than a year?

Seeing as you question states that I have to kill myself - I´d go to that clinic in Switzerland that helps people top themselves.

@Shane 9_5 - blind people do use computers - they have programmes that read text out aloud.

Since I consider myself a fairly well-balanced individual, I cannot conceive that I would be suicidal because of going blind. It is pretty insulting to blind people who live full and active lives wouldn't you say?

I'd be doing the same **** I've been doing I think. I unexpectedly went blind in one eye already a few years back & kinda been wondering if the other was eventually gonna follow suit. Hopefully not...

I would never commit suicide. As it is one of the dumbest things to ever do. You only have one life, and to kill yourself simply because you can't see anymore is stupid. I don't see the point in you question. And find it insulting to blind people.

I would see it as an opportunity to hone my hearing into becoming a better musician. I wouldn't kill myself over something like that. Ryan, can I just ask, how did you type your answer? Or even read the question for that matter?

There are many blind people leading normal lives.

Well first of all, I would never kill myself because I'm blind. Even though I ACTUALLY BLIND. But, to answer your question, I would shoot myself. Less painful than burning alive

Sounds like you have one year of practice time to adapt to life without sight. So get your blind fold out and start practising.
