My child is haunted by evil spirits! I know he is not making it up.... PLEASE help?

Please do not give me sarcastic or "jerkoff" answers.

I myself was followed by spirits when I was a young teenager. They were mean to me, but they always waited until my parents were out of the house and I was alone, and they would open and slam doors shut and scare me and torment me.

I have heard and read that evil spirits look for young beings to steal and harness energy from and attach themselves to.

My son is 10 years old and will be 11 in August.

He says that the spirits have been following him. They were even calling his name when he was at his dad's house.

PLEASE. Help me figure out a way to do a ritual to get these spirits out of my house and out of my son's life for good!!! He does not deserve to be afraid like this. He came running to me last night at 4 in the morning just frightened out of his mind. He described to me what the shadow looked like that came into his room and the sound that it made.

I KNOW MY SON IS NOT MAKING THIS UP OR JUST MAKING STORIES. This is not his imagination, I know he is telling the truth by how he describes these things to me. He is very intelligent.

My child is generally a really good boy. He and I both believe in God VERY MUCH!!!!!

Please just help me in telling me prayers and rituals I can perform to make the evil spirits detach themselves from him and leave him alone for good.

Update:

Ummm... I SPECIFICALLY ASKED NOT TO GIVE ME SARCASTIC / JERKOFF ANSWERS!!!

This is SERIOUS.

I am NOT schizo and neither is my son!!!

Thanks for laughing in a child's face of his own fears and the AWFUL THINGS HE HAS TO ENDURE!!!

I hope you all sleep well tonight as you don't have to be frightened out of your mind as a young child!

Update 2:

And to those of you who have offered REAL advice, thank you for NOT BEING A JERK!!!

It appears that you do not know the Bible very well, or possibly false ‘Christian’ teachers and preachers have led you astray. When you die you know nothing so how could I haunt a house? Ghost, evil spirits etc are pagan teachings that the Catholic Church brought into Christianity and people have fallen for this false teaching instead of reading and studying the Bible. Ecc 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Ecc 9:6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. It is not of God but it is the working of the fallen angels, Follow God not Satan. Private emails accepted. Peace and Grace David

If you are really serious, I suggest you get the statue of a powerful Tibetan Buddhist deity and keep it in his room -- you can also keep a few statues of the Buddha around your home. Google me if you want some powerful mantras as well. Buddhism and Hinduism have been around for many thousands of years before the whole Jesus story came about and if nothing else works, it may be worth a try. Email me if you need help.

Did you ever get rid of the evil spirit haunting your son? If so, how? My daughter has had this problem for many years.

"he is very intelligent" "My child is generally a really good boy"

I believe that's what EVERY MOM says about their kids. Guess what, he's 10.

And to be serious, I honestly recommend you find a good psychologist.

    EDIT:

I came back to realize you added - "I am NOT schizo and neither is my son!!!"

You do realize, that people who are schizophrenic, either accept it, and find help, or are in complete denial, because it seems so real to them, right? Well, you and your son are the kind that are in denial.

Just pray. Like Ted said, call out the name of Jesus. I don't think special rituals are needed.

I believe that these things happen to those who have a special work of some sort to perform in life.

Many people have experienced this -- those who haven't can't believe it.

You mentioned "shadow". Some people call these beings "shadow people".

I believe, though, that they only have as much power as we allow them. So tell your son to pray and have faith.

For what it's worth, it's not a sign of mental illness and I believe you.

Source(s): Like DRICH said, command them to go in the name of Jesus. He can do that, and you do it, too, for him. edit: I'd be interested to know if any of these beings have pretended to him to be you or his father. That seems to be a recurring phenomemon in these situations.

You order it out in the name of Christ Jesus. Evil spirits are forced to depart at the mention of Christ's name. They flee in fear. They know their judgement is coming, and they cringe in anguish at the mere mention of His name. So demand them out. God gave us power over Satan. You're a child of God, now use that power and stop giving them the time of day. Force them out.

Child Protection Services needs to set up a psychological examination and ask him about certain things that happen when he sees these things. This isn't about demons or spirits... it's about abuse!

Those beings you describe have called my name and taunted me, too. I have even been dragged across my bed. I can't explain something like that away as imagination. It's spiritual warfare. Keep praying to God. Remember that God is stronger.

Give him to child services. They'll know what to do. Especially after you tell them about the spirits.
