Video Card Issues....again..?
I am pretty sick and tired of video card issues, but i guess it cant be helped. so, i recieved my new video card (Nvidia 250GTS) and i have had it for about 1 year now. No problems whatsoever, and runs perfectly. However, last week, i was downloading some newer games and i decided to check if my card driver was up to date. So i went to Nvidia.com and got teh newest driver (January 2011 i believe)...i had no problems for a few days, and then yesterday I was just playing some League of Legends, which i have already been playing for about 5 months with ABSOLUTELY no issues. pretty much, whenever something more graphically demanding occurs in the game, it would disconnect me (its online) and it would pop up with an error message saying "The video card driver file xxxxxxx.xxx (some weird file name which included nvda in it) has stopped working, but is now responding."
after that i have to reconnect and sometimes its fine, but like today, it keeps occuring....
i have tried these things:
i system restored incase i have picked up some virus or other thing
i scanned with 2 antivirus/malware programs...nothing found
i reverted to my older driver and the problem persisted
i reinstalled the game and it persisted...
the last thing i have done is open up my computer and clean it a bit (hadnt done it in a while)...and i havnt tried since.
PLEASE HELP this is really annoying me.
I got 4gigs of RAM.. i think i have plenty.....
it could be a problem with directx tho..im checking that out right now

Common problem when downgrading or upgrading graphics I believe it centres on remanant driver install files from previous drivers that conflict with your current driver installation.Other than doing a full reformat and OS installation you could try uninstalling the driver and nvidia software and going to program files and deleting the program folder then rebooting into safe mode and use"driversweeper"http://www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/ just be weary to only check to remove nvidia display/nvidia physx not nvidia chipset incase your motherboard chipset is nvidia you only want to remove remanant nvidia display drivers using this program
Good luck

If it is for gaming, it relies upon on what your pc can manage. maximum pcs basically contain one AGP slot committed for Video. otherwise, you opt for to also use a PCI slot for yet another V-card. bear in mind, the cardboard on the PCI is going to be slightly slower than the AGP slot. regardless of in case your gadget has the hot ePCI, there'll basically be one slot committed to Video. There are playing cards that ought to apply 2 video reveal contraptions straight away. you'll get the kind of playing cards truly of having 2 video playing cards. The appropriate purpose for having 2 video reveal contraptions is for projects too huge for one reveal screen, gaming with 2 human beings to get the "twin" view (like the racing video games contained in the arcades that are appropriate at the same time), or to be waiting to multitask. Multitasking in this remember permits you to keep your e mail up and in view to boot as different paintings you're doing mutually; which contain an Excel sheet, note or different classes. this kind, you do not ought to enhance the "Window" one after the other as you presently do.
