What is your opinion on Luvs diapers?

I have been an avid Huggies user since my daughter was in size 1 diapers, but they are getting really expensive! I wanted to switch her to Luvs since they are quite a bit cheaper. I just wanted to get opinions from other moms that use them, or that don't use them. So, what are your opinions?

I was like you. Except I always bought Pampers. I don't like Huggies because they are paperish like material rather than soft. Luvs and pampers are a lot alike in my opinion. I love Luvs. Once they changed the style of them when my oldest was about 6 months I have been using them regularly. I don't buy anything else. Now I have another child who I am about to potty train. But my oldest son is 4. So I would definitely say that Luvs has done good for me. And they are not leaky, unless you don't change them for a LONG time. Or they get wet like in the pool. Other than that I LOVE THEM! I would definitely recommend them!

We have 3 kids and we love Luvs. We tried Pampers and Huggies but they leaked thru in no time. At first with the last 2 we did use the swaddlers but after they were out of the newborn size we switched to Luvs and that's all we've used. They have a money back guarantee so I'd try them.

Honestly, you will need to try other brands and determined if they are for you or not... I am a huggies lover. I have tried luvs, pampers, and target. Did not like any of them. One of them has a weave lining (luvs?) it caused my daughter to break out in a rash, switched back to huggies, and she was fine again. Pampers were ok, but I didn't care for the tabs on the diapers, they didn't stretch and move with my kids the way huggies did... for some reason target reminded me of cardboard... haha I didn't really like them, but they worked ok. I think that ultimately if you do not like any other diapes, look for coupons for huggies, that will help.

I honestly thought Luvs would be cheap quality but they are really good diapers, I have also been using huggies since pamper quality isn't like it used to! but anyway unfortunately my son is allergic to the dye and perfume that luvs has so unfortunately I can't use them. but the are a good diaper in my opinion!

    I Love them.

They are much better than any store brand I have tried and just as cheap.

Some people love them and some don't. Personally I hate huggies but you love them. Honestly my best suggestion is to get a small bag and see if you like them before spending a bunch of money on a big box.

You may actually have to try a few different brands before finding what is best for you.

I think they work just as well if not better, especially since they changed the style. I see no reason to buy Huggies diapers. On the other hand, I will only use Huggies wipes, because of the thickness. I tried Luvs wipes & you have to use about 3 to compare to 1 Huggies wipe.

I use parents choice but I've bought luvs a few times. I think luvs are just as good as parents choice. I never had any problems with leaking. The only thing that bothered me was the heavy scent they have. They have a fragrance to them that makes my stomach hurt. But for the price they really aren't bad.

I didn't have much luck with Luvs. They just didn't work for my son. I did try Costco's Kirkland Signature brand and they are very similar to Huggies and much less expensive. I still prefer Huggies, but Costco's are comparable.

I personally think they are great. They fit my daughter very well and are relatively inexpensive. However, I have a girlfriend who had great luck with Luvs for her first child and they always leaked with her second. I think sometimes it really depends on the kid and how they fit. I say buy a small pack and try them out...then you really aren't out much if they don't work for you.
