How Should my splurge/cheat days work? Please help i stick to a really healthy diet!?
I'm an athlete and eat SUPER healthy. I stick to a diet of oats Ezekiel 4:9 bread, fruits, veggies, low fat yogurt and cottage cheese, chicken tilapia and salmon, I also eat 5-6 tiny meals a dayetc etc... but my trainer said i should have a splurge day once every so often or once a week even. But how exactly do i splurge.. is it ONE meal and one dessert? or all day? The past couple times I've tried a splurge day I've went overboard and have horrible stomach aches after. thanks.

everyones different.once a week is ok.I ussually try for a good sunday night dinner,or if i go out friday night.cheat a lil.If your goin to for a whole day,i wouldn't go over board.stick with it all week, and it your craving something(like chineese food) go for it.then to feel better, the next day do extra cardio if you want.

well, whatever it is that you love but feel you have to give up to stick to your lifestyle change. never diet just make healthier eating a way of life. i "splurge" once a month. on that one day, i may have a small slice of pizza, or shrimp alfredo over linguini (very bad, but oh so good, lol). after that, i always exercise a little harder to burn it. i may do one extra hour of Zumba, and/or one hour of jogging. but yeah, the meal AND the dessert, a big no-no, lol! it will make you feel tired from all the fat and sugar. when you are used to eating healthy, your body knows when you cheat.

well I think you should have it once a week to once every 2 weeks and you splurge on ONE meal which I suggest to be dessert if you know what I mean :) ICE CREAM!!!
