can a refurbished disk work on a new computer?

i got a dell refurbished disk and i got a new compter with on back up disk. if not whut is a good web for the disk

    You can use any refurbished disk in your system as long as it it functional and not damaged. It will work like any other disk. You will be able to read and write data in the disk so no need to worry.
