does anyone know about the war that broke out during the middle ages that involved?

the fight between the Roman pope and the Frence Pope of the great schism. I know about the great schism, but I do remember reading somewhere that becus of this dispute people went to war becus of the split in the church. Im not talking about the 100yr war...it was more on a smaller scale, but it was mostly a political war between those who supported the Urban and those who supported Clemens

France and Castile (an ally of France) supported Clement and his successors in Avignon.

England, the Italian states, and the Holy Roman Emperor supported Urban and his successors in Rome.

There was no war as such between the 2 factions;the Hundred Years War was ongoing at the time, and at the start of schism support for the different Popes more or less divided along the lines of political support for France or England that already existed.
