Y!A answers is pretty messed up?
wondering why i havent received a job or have been called in for an interview in a while, i started to do some research. i started to google my email address and I found something interesting. There was a post I made on yahoo answers a few months ago about depression, job searching, and keeping a job. I was pretty depressed and wanted to get some feedback. I thought it was all out of good fun and understanding. I now notice that posting this question was a pretty crappy thing to do.
When i google my email address, the same email address that I give employers, This YAanswers post pops up labeled "Mental issues Category". not my facebook account, my myspace account, or anything else...
I decided to try to see if I would acheive the same result with other people. I googled their emails and discovered facebook account info...etc.
Im wondering if I can sue for definmation of character or image or something because it's unfair.
And you know you cant erase those resolved questions once they're posted right? Even if you delete your account...those questions remain.
3 AnswersYahoo Answers10 years agohow would i go about throwing an NON-CONTACT martial arts tournament?
I really want to throw a martial arts tournament. It wouldnt comprise of Fighting of any sort. It would just be Forms, breaking, and Self defense application. IT would be for traditional schools as well as non traditional schools. Would I need a license for that?
3 AnswersMartial Arts10 years agohouse made of light and magnetics?
i think if one uses the nature of electromagnetism and the science of Fractal Geometry...we may be able to build a house ...and any other structure from light and metals alone. there is one catch tho...to
power the structure once formed from the light fractal...there needs to be a continuous power source. since we know that negative energy and positive energy can collide and create a large amount of energy...then we can try this. but just imagine a single place on Earth where there is a collision of negative and positive particles big enough to power every house on Earth. or anything...else
a beam of light manipulated, using its photons to... i Dont know...cool idea tho
1 AnswerPhysics10 years agotensing muscles, breathing techniques, and power?
i know for sure that there is benefit in striking and breathing slow or hard to enhance power. i also notice that okinawan karate styles sway and shift weight mostly from the midsection to enhance power. Uechi ryu uses the tensing of muscles to enhance power. xingyiquan uses the tensing motion and has a unique way of striking where the person retracts like a rubber band or stomps to create power. whats your take on using these techniques to create power and how do you use momentum? how do you generate power? whats the most effective way to use less motion but create power and efficiency

2 AnswersPhysics10 years agothe merging of ideas that brought about change and understanding?
that examples in history would you read about that give examples about how the merging of cultures and ideas brought about change? I know back in the early times, the city of Demascus was a melting pot of ideas. Christians and Muslims shared ideas and views, lived together, traded with each other. The enlightenment was sort of an example as well. Philosophers merged ideas of Greek philosphers with Christian, muslim, and Asian ideas to question the status quo of the Christian monarchs who shot down their ideas, threatening them with heresy. what else is out there?

4 AnswersRap and Hip-Hop1 decade agodoin my college paper on the lack of physical expression in our schools. what do you think about?
Argument: Are we suppose to all become "like Mike", or spending our days behind a bat, or soccer ball? Because of the lack of physical expression in our high schools some students resort to either choosing an extracurricular activity that they aren't interested in. Others who don't have the option of finding an interest in our sporting systems try their hand at either music or academic scholarships...that more often then not produces a small present of successful individuals. Because of this fact...those who can choose, those without the resource for physical express...add to the national drop out statistic. I believe that Martial arts, as an extra curricular activity, promotes critical thinking, health, discipline, and focus. It totally exhibits more of a complete socially involved individual than those who play sports like Basketball, Football, etc.
Do you think this would be a great argument
2 AnswersMartial Arts1 decade agodoes anyone know about the war that broke out during the middle ages that involved?
the fight between the Roman pope and the Frence Pope of the great schism. I know about the great schism, but I do remember reading somewhere that becus of this dispute people went to war becus of the split in the church. Im not talking about the 100yr war...it was more on a smaller scale, but it was mostly a political war between those who supported the Urban and those who supported Clemens
1 AnswerHistory1 decade agotaking and retaining from a paragraph? what do you do?
i was just wondering about a method that i find pretty useful that my teacher implements, She tells use to write down those definitions of bold faced words within our books so that that we could pretty much remember every thing about the tet better. This method is pretty damn good, but its just becus my book has been made in this way. Words in bold stick out so that you know that they are significant to the chapter. they are positioned in the right place, right in the middle of a paragraph, so that you just copy it all down.
my question comes about when I try to apply this same ability to regular books that have no bold faced wordings. no Italized words made significant. How would you apply this technique to regular books? How would you retain information the best you know how?

2 AnswersPhysics1 decade agoturning into a recluse... I wonder what happen to them...?
why is it no longer cool to get in depth with the deep, spiritual aspects of martial arts? Sometimes i wonder what went through Mas oyama's mind when he decided to just go into the mountains for some time to do some heavy training. I sometimes wish I could just separate myself from the rest of the world, go into the mountains like Musashi and just write out how things are. You know i've mentioned two ppl here, Musashi and Oyama, but Yamamoto Tsunetomo...the writer of Hagekure also went out and lived like a hermit for a while too. I wonder...if it's like some type of method of becoming this "great martial artist"...to become a "hermit"? In animation...im sure many people are familiar with street fighter...Akuma...is the character of strong ability. He's always depicted as this recluse in the mountains, unable to socially interact with the world because he's obsessed with his training.
Is there something to this?

3 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agophilosophically speaking, do you believe the true role of the Martial artist is?
to conquer their limits physically, mentally, spiritually, to reach another mental plane? I mean there isn't another activity that truly incorporates such a dynamic splicing of physical, mental, spiritual development in my opinion. I personally feel that those of us who are in fact drawn to martial arts, innately, have chosen to take on a metaphysical task of showing how one could possibly surpass the normal limits of the human mind.
Im drawing this idea from a thought i had some time ago. legs were created to walk, to move around, (maybe)... and within the capabilies of the legs...we are able to use its functions to either run, kick, swim, etc...now one cannot argue that even though these actions aren't necessarily intended actions of the leg, we are in fact able to use them as such...in such a way that these actions contribute to the "over all good" of humanity. To me, I believe that in taking this fact alone, we may say that legs were, indeed, intended to be used as such...(simply because of the existence of such possibility) maybe we could furthermore say that in the future it is possible that we as humans will come up with new ways of using our legs that will ultimately add to the "over all" good of humanity.
Now if we put that into context with martial arts...what is your thoughts?
I hope I didnt loose you...
