How much for a 75 gallon aquarium?

Useful life = 5 yrs <---estimate no1 can b for certain

(1095-273.75) / 5 = $164.25

so that means every year ur tank depreciates in value by $164.25

U've had it for a year but its unlikely to sell it that fast so lets make it 2 yrs

1 year = $1,095 - 164.25 = $930.75

2 years = $930.75 - 164.25 = $766.50!!!! <--- suggested price ceiling amount so dont charge over that imo

I'd say go for about 400-600 or just leave in ur ad for them to make u an offer. sometimes u got people that know about fish tnaks and who knows perhaps they will make their offer even better than what u expected to get out of it lol.

The light is a 6 strip T5 right? It is the most valuable item you listed.

Glass tank?

You can easily get at least $400 for that setup, anything less would be if things were in terrible condition, cracked, etc. Best case, expect $600 (no scratches or damage, nice stand).

How I valued (pretty standard):

Tank: $75 =$1 a gallon very standard for a used 75 gallon glass tank in good condition, acrylic is more

Stand: $75 = usually comparable to the tank, but what type of wood? Not all stands are equal...

Light: $200 = easy, just sold one for this actually (48" 6 strip but I used it for 3 years but replaced the bulbs two months before I sold)

Filter: $75 = if even, filters do not hold much of a resale value and are usually an extra to bring in the buyers rather than add value, it might be worth as much as $100 or as little as $50 if it is in good condition, broken it is pretty worthless

Titanium heater???? Those actually keep a resale value, the glass garbage ones do not. It would have half retail value.

So, list the items, the years of use, the condition, and what you paid, then ask for the higher price and expect something a little lower. Anything below $350 is an insult unless you exclude the light or unless the tank/stand is in bad condition.

75 Gallon Aquarium And Stand

The good news is that 75 gallon tanks are a desirable size. The bad news is that aquariums and supplies don't hold value. Having a nice light makes it a bonus so you might be able to get $300-$400 from the tank if lucky. Could depend on your area too. I see 75 gallon tanks a lot in the classifieds that get listed for much cheaper and in my experience, Most aquarium items can be bought for half of what they are listed for.

Maybe $400. We are trying to sell a 50 gallon tank and stand with all the trimmings (no fish) all in good condition with and aren't getting many calls. I will probably lower it to $325 and hope to get $300.

Probably about 1/2 the costs to $800 or so....

Do a little market research on the tank and see if someones selling it on cragilist, ebay or gumtree or something... find there asking price.. match it and add your extras.

Well........... If it is in good condition like the day you bought it, then again most fish tanks are never as good as the day you bought it but it is probably in good condition. So i would say about 650$ or maybe even 700$!!!!! Good luck.
