Can truffles be found in the Pacific Northwest or anywhere in the US?

There's an organization for everything. http://www.natruffling.org/ Next question is if there's a market for truffles from your area. If you live in an area with any amount of edible fungi, there are probably companies that act as middleman between restaurants and mushroom hunters. We certainly have them here in BC. They usually operate seasonally since mushrooms are very seasonal.

Supposedly they're out there, but I don't think they're worth as much because they don't come from France or Italy. Still great to eat though.
