Volume = area of base x height so 60 = 20h; h = 3 cm which means 3 cm was cut off each end of the 5 and 4, so it was originally (5+3+3) by (4+3+3) = 11 cm by 10 cm; use that to get its area

    60/20 = 3

    8 by 7 cm
