How can I select or vote for my own answer?
One time, yahoo asked me to vote for an answer for a question which i answered and I voted for mine and it became the best answer. How do you do like that again?

You can't force it. Yahoo has to allow you to vote on it, usually because the question is by that time days old and has no other responses.
