Can the man cause a miscarriage?
Me and my SO were talking and I found out that his ex-wife had 4 or 5 mc's. He told me when we first got together about getting a couple of girls pregnant when he lived in FL, but they all ended up mc'ing. I'm worried that if I am pregnant, I'm going to MC as well. Does the past mc's have anything to do with his end of the baby-makin?

Most miscarriages are caused by fetal abnormalities, so yes, if he is passing on genes that result in fetal abnormalities. Honestly, it is impossible to know without testing. That isn't the only reason or factor involved either. Everybody runs the risk of miscarrying, so don't think you stand any more of a chance than the next guy, because you don't. If you try to get pregnant and have problems, or miscarry yall might want to see a doctor to find out what's going on.

As the previous answerer said already, yes, it can happen that man is the reason for miscarriages. If the sperm produces embryos with genetic abnormalities, the embryo at one point just stops growing which leads to a miscarriage.
If that would be the case, i am pretty sure that it would be very uncommon condition, so i dont think your chances are very high to actually face it.
My best guess is saying that even though there can be some issues, it has all been just a bad coincidence and the time will come for a happy and healthy baby to come.
