brand new toshiba labtop wont turn on?

Return it if the charger isn't powering on the laptop. If you choose not to, call in and use the warranty. If you don't want to do that, you just need to get a new charger.

You can look online on sites like ebay or amazon but I would personally suggest you visit Topmic instead. That's Toshiba laptops for you.....try these:

1. Hold down the power button for more than 20 seconds without the battery in and the charger unplugged. Put the battery back in and reconnect the charger, and now try turning it on.

2. Unplug the charger and take out the battery. Hold the power button down as you plug the charger in.

3. Maybe let it charge the battery for about 30 minutes and try turning it on again.

remove the battery by unlocking it from the back side. then connect the ac power adaptor on the laptop without battery to see if it turns out. if it does, that means ur laptop is fine. connect the battery back on the laptop with the computer on, you should see a icon popup on the bottom left stating ur laptop is charging.

I would let it charge then try or get a new charger
