I'm scared I have a poltergeist in my house?

Question

Recently, this past week, some really odd things have been happening to me, I've had paranormal things happen in my house before but they are usually very spaced out and not so obvious, but this past week, one or two things have been happening everyday, its started on wednesday at 12.00 am or so, where the manual radio with (quite resistant) dial turned itself on and started tuning through all the radio station and then turning the dial back to off again, then i felt like i was being watched in my room, and i've heard noises like a cat is walking around the room when my cat is next to me asleep, and then a box i use to prop my door open so my cat can come in and out moved so that it was vertical against the wall, I tried and I found it was impossible to move it from lying on the ground to vertical on the wall by just kicking it or slamming the door too hard, then on friday I came home from college for an hour or so and watched some tv and I SPECIFICALLY remember turning it off but when i come home again at six it was on just showing white noise, then today I came home and the lights in my bedroom were on, and I know for sure I didn't switch them on, and no one else has ben in the house but me, and now, this evening I was sitting in my parents room watching tv, and i felt this thump against the bed like my dog had layed down next to the bed and had sort of jolted it but there was nothing there and then my other dog who was on the bed with me started breathing heavily and following something with his eyes, even when i called his name he was reluctant to turn away, I told it to go away, but the thing i'm scared of is that it seems to be following me everywhere i go in my house, i thought it might just stay in my room and the room i watch tv in, because nothing has ever happened in my parents bedroom, but now i'm worried it's doing it specifically to me, nothing's happened to any one in my house but me!

@tin-god- the radio is a simple shower radio (though may I stress it's not ever in contact with water) it does not have an alarm, and as for the light, i know for a Fact it was not on before I went out, because I was thinking to myself how bright the room was when the sun is shining in and how there weren't even any lights on and it was still so bright.

Don't be afraid.  If this ghost was out to scare you or attack you, it would have done it by now.  Poltergeists are usually VERY noisy.  Banging on walls, slamming doors, rattling pots and pans, moaning, etc.  The cat seems awful calm through all this.  Cats are very perceptive of paranormal activity, more so than dogs.  The cat is familiar with this ghost.  We don't think it is there to harm or frighten.  Be careful in telling it to leave - be nice.  No incense, unless you know what you are doing.  Ghosts were people too and can get angry.

Oh that kind of sucks. I'm not really sure what the question is? Do you have poltergeist? My personal opinion is yes, you do. 

Do you want to get rid of it? My best answer is to go to a medium and get better answers from them.

This is how I feel about the whole situation: If the spirit isn't doing terrible things to you or anyone you know, and it's just things like what you described, it doesn't sound like such a terrible spirit. In fact it might actually be someone you once knew or someone in your family who is trying to get something across to you.. that there's something they are trying to communicate to you, but you're just not listening hard enough, so they use physical ways as a resort. My best advice would to be to get a medium to your house if this is such a huge deal to you... i honestly wouldn't mind that kind of haunting at all... as long as it doesn't go any further than that

Poltergeist activity is a form of haunting that is associated with a pre teen to teenage girl.  There is a theory that it is a build up of kinetic energy.  That could be the case with you, however I would try to find natural answers for the activity before labeling the events as paranormal.

wow and that is how easy it is to convince you that you have a poltergeist
you would be a con mans dream 
all of the things you have mentioned can be explained easy, the radio has an Alarm and just comes on at the same time every day, why don't you unplug it or take the batteries out then if it comes on you might have a point.
the lights being on is easy, i often put my lights on in the day coz of habit and then coz its a bright day i don't notice and go out leaving them on, only to come back later when its dark wondering who put the light on
the only thing haunting your house is your Imagination

Paranoid much?
This does sound scary, but this could be a prank being pulled on u by ur various pets for APRIL FOOLS (as they appear near the crime scene ) or mind tricks played by u due to elevated stress levels.
