How do I find a cheap, registered & certified electrician ?
I am having to buy a brand new electric cooker (the previous one having been burned to a cinder ) and the council have told me it is now a legal requirement that electric cookers are installed by fully qualified and registered electricians. The cost of the cooker itself is causing enough problems to raise and so I need to get it installed as cheaply, but legally as possible. The alternative is to find the cheapest deal from a supplier who will also install and deliver. Any help/suggestions would be so gratefully received. Please, please don't raise the subject of insurance as it's a very sore subject at the moment !
Thank you for reading this

try to haggle a little, like i really love this cooker but i also have to have it installed, could we work something out? if your willing to buy on the spot you can usually get a little discount. paying an electrician is costly and doesn't go in the same sentence as cheap....

I assume you are referring to a free standing electric range, or a counter top range. If your looking for an inexpensive, not cheap, electrician to install your product then you should go to lowes, home depot, best buy, or sears. I've found the appliance installers at big box stores to be the least expensive, and more accessible when it comes to scheduling.
