Art projects for younger kids?

Okay so once every week I have to babysit two sisters, they are 4 and 7 I think. They love doing art projects but I am completely out of ideas!?!? They are tired of coloring... I dont blame em. So does anyone have any art project ideas?

I won a day care center and do crafts all of the time. I use the internet to find cool crafts to do with children. Try www.dltk-kids.com it is a great resource. You will find recipes for play dough and other creative ideas on this site. How about making a mother's day present of tissue paper flowers in a paper plate vase? Children love to make collages with materials from outside. Use leaves, flowers, bark and rocks. Sand art is great and you can make "sand" by crunching chalk into salt until the salt is colored. Then just glue the sand onto paper plates that you have created designs on.

You Can Try Scratch Art, I found it pretty fun. Although you use an exacto knife which may be a little dangerous!

Shrinky dinks are always fun. They do have to color but if you can find kits, I found mine at Family Dollar, you can make charm bracelets and plus all kids like to see things shrink. LOL
