Keep it! Your as is clause pushed the grievime over the top; you would have been responsible for all the negatives, why can't you reap the few rare benefits. If they haven't asked, you haven't lied.

You really don't have any obligation to give it back. Morally, yes. Legally, nah. Whatever they left in that house, is yours pretty much. I would call and tell them you found it. I'd be mad...because i'd freaking want to sell it and roll in the cash, but i'd feel horrible and with my luck they'd call me a few months later wondering if we had seen it laying around somewhere.

I had an Impala (the car) a few years ago and totaled it. Someone then bought it from an auction and went to repair it. They took off the bumper and a wedding ring fell out.
