How hydronic systems are balanced?

In balancing a newly installed hydronic system, valves must be adjusted to acheive the proper flow rate in each loop. How are the water flows measured to accomplish this?

Not familiar with the term "hydronic" but guessing it's the same as "hydroponic". That being the case, a simple way to adjust flows is simply to measure liquid height in the containers. When the fluid raises too high, shut off input or increase output. A float valve (similar to what's used in most American toilets) is a good way to do this.

    Hope that helps.
