like everyone else has said, two completely seperate companies... for the most part. Sometimes they overlap a bit. For instance, Disney owns Marvel Comics, but Universal has tons of Marvel characters and Marvel themed rides in its parks. Mostly because Disney recently bought Marvel, but the characters seem a lot more at home in Universal than in Disney imho. But yeah, two totally different companies.

Universal is an entirely separate movie company
The rides at the parks are from the company's movies. For example, you won't find The Little Mermaid or Honey I Shrunk the Kids at Universal, but you will find The Mummy, Terminator, and Men In Black.

You are about the fifteenth to ask the same question.. Disney and Universal are two very different competing companies and they both just about tolerate the other.. Universal is in the city of Orlando and Disney World is in Orange county, outside the city. You can search for everything on the net.
