I've got a physics question!?

I have this question on a worksheet, I don't understand it the way that it is asking.

The problem is set up exactly like so:

Radio waves Infared radiation Visible light Ultraviolet radiation Gamma radiation

For the five types of electromagnetic radiation listed above, which of the following correctly describes the way in which wavelength, frequency, and photon energy change as one goes from the top of the list to the bottom?

Wavelength Frequency Photon Energy

a)Decreases Decreases Increases

b)Decreases Increases Increases

c)Increases Decreases Decreases

d)Increases Decreases Increases

e)Increases Increases Increases

Thanks a lot!

    Wavelength Decreases

Frequency is inversely proportional to wavelength, so it increases

Photon energy is product of planck constant & frequency, so as frequency increases photon energy also increases

Therefore answer is b)Decreases Increases Increases

    B). Decreases, Increases, Increases

    Hope I helped

    the answer's b

here's the trick u must know first the wavelenght of the 5, u should know that by heart it decrease from radio to gamma

then from v=f*lamda where lamda is waveleght

since v is contant for all of them if wavelength decrease frequency must increase

if u want to check your answer photon energy=h/lamda h is plank constant

since wavelenght is decreasing photon energy increases..hope it help
