how true is the Da Vinci Code?

it is a conspiracy theorie, i don't think any of it is true

The Da Venci code is based off a solo painting by Da Vinci called the "Last Supper". In it, Jesus sits with His 12 disciples. John, the youngest resembles a female which brings to the imagination of some that Mary Magdalene sat there and was having an affair with Jesus. However, we must remember that the Roman Catholic artist lived over a millennium after Christ and had no idea what any of them looked like. Futhermore, he painted them at a European style table, and the Judeans of the first century used oriental style tables and sat on the floor. The entire book and supposition is great nonsense, yet nonsense that raked in millions and helped confuse gullible and simple minds.

Parts of it is, but it is a good bit of fiction also.
