solve for x: (1)-(9/x)=4?

i'm really bad at math and ive been working at this stupid test forever. please help me =(

    x = -3

    First, subtract the 1: -(9/x)=3

    Then, distribute the negative: -9/x=3

    Multiply by x: -9=3x

    Divide by 3: -3=x

    1-(9/x)=4

    -1 -1

    -------------

    -(9/x)=3

    (9/x)=-3

    (x)(9/x)=-3(x)

    9=-3x

    x=-3
