Why did god give us eyes to see his creation, but not the sight to see Him..?

But brother he did, we just don't recognize his disguise.

God hides in every one & every thing, we simply have forgotten how to see.

God cannot be seen by the human eye. Yet His eternal power and divine character are known and clearly seen by the things He has made. The fact that God cannot be seen does not mean He cannot be known. But, if you were to look at the order of things as being held constant by the creator, who created all things, you can begin to see the God, who was and is powerful enough to create such a beautiful place even though He cannot be seen directly. Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the men of old gained approval. By faith you understand that the world with every beautiful creation was prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible...!

Knowingly you are questioning this way.

Eswara ( GOD) gave the EYES to see and created many beautiful gardens, hills, waterfalls , rainbow, etc etc to SEE AND ENTERTAIN AND FEEL PLEASURE .

After seeing for some time say years , one has to think about the Sceneries, Seeing and the SEER.

Once this starts (saadhana) ONE BEGINS THE JOURNEY TO SEE HIM .

SO THE EXTERNAL SIGHT HE GAVE drives one to SEEK HIM.

A person SEES MANY THINGS, MEETS MANY PERSONS , SEES PLEASANT AND BEAUTIFUL SCENERIES .As TIME passes by, THE SOME PERSON WE SAW AND LOVED DISAPPEARED PERMANENTLY.SIMILARLY the things disappear from this worls once for all.Tress fall down.THOSE WHATEVER THAT HAVE A NAME AND FORM IN THE TIME DISAPPEAR ONCE FOR ALL.

So when any person sees these happenings through HIS EYES , naturally a thought sprots in him, where to these Humans and animals and other things went?Are all these which are in world Impermanent? Then what is that THAT IS PERMANENT?

So this EYES and the Sight are the Source of this question and consequent INTROSPECTION.

This way the EYES make one turn into the path of SEEING OR REALIZING GOD .

This question falls right into the "Do you believe that God exists" topic , as you will get answers from both believers and non-believers.

It comes down to what you believe.

God is all powerful, so he can communicate with anyone of us. Why would he choose not to?

God can show himself in any form. Why doesn't he do so?

People in turn will rationalize , that God does exist, but chooses not to be available.

Its a difficult topic , when people puts words and meaning into the mouth of a supreme being.

It requires self reflection.

Adam walked with God in the beginning before he ate of the tree. Some people in the Bible could see at least angels, Like Elija. Elija said to someone "Lord open his eyes." and then that person was able to see the angels too. Ever since the fall of man in the garden God has asked more of us from us faith standpoint.

Well, Do we see the Air ?? but we believe that there is air arround us ... Do we see Our soul or any other souls ??? but we also sure it is real ... so why asking about seeing GOD ? we know HE is Exist although we do not see HIM ! and i would like to give an Example : the computer is making a mathematical operations tht we can't make right ??!! although of this but the computer can't say Hello to you coz his Cognition is limited for some certain things ! the same as Peopls we can make many many things but we have limited Cognition ! i hope my answer was really convincing "Excuse my weak english " :)

The eyes can only reach an object which has color and shape, but Allah is the Creator of colors and shapes. He has no image or body. He is the Absolute and Unlimited. He encompasses the whole universe. He is Omnipresent and never absent from anywhere.

The Noble Quran says clearly, “No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision.” (Chp 6: Verse 102)

It's because life is an exam of ours, God wants to see whose faith is stronger or not or who is a good or bad guy! it's not that God does not knows about us that whether we are good or bad but He will do every thing systematically and would punish and reward us with a proof not because only He knows that we are good or bad! So He has given us a chance to prove ourself and kept himself hidden from everyone.

If everyone gets to see Him then everyone becomes a good guy but when God has kept Himself hidden then only those people who will have strong faith will be able to see Him and will be rewarded and those who do not see Him lack faith and will be punished.

I think God wants us to have faith in Him that despite our inability to see Him, through His creation we will be able to understand and see Him. We see his character in the eyes of our sons and daughters, of the beggars in the street, the sunset in the horizon and in the rain. He is everywhere and until we SEE all the beauty He has made and appreciate it, then that is the time that we do see Him. He has blessed us with senses to use for our benefit and using these senses we are able to perceive his presence everywhere, in the laughter of the people we amused with our silly jokes, in the warm embrace of an old friend, in the sumptuous scent of the meal we made for a group of people. God is everywhere. ^_^
