Why does obamas birth certifcate list his father's race as?

'African' when that type of vernacular was not used in the 1960's? African/ African American is very recent terminology.

Update:

@Roger. I grew up in the sixties..African was not commonly used. Even documents for schools, doctor/ dentist case history forms in that era would ask your race and 'African' was not a choice.

Update 2:

    Because it's still a forgery.

Where the hell are his baby feet prints and his mother or fathers thumb print?

Mine has that, why doesn't his?

All my brothers (7) and sisters (2) looks like mine and I'm the youngest born in 1968, so you figure my mom had a kid every year 1967,1966,1965,1964,1963 1962,1961,1960 and 1959.

His should have his feet prints on the back or on file, JC he could still be anyone.

i'm guessing that it may say African because of the fact he's from Africa. resembling somebody who could say they are American. the full element is.... the "race" element is so blown out of share. some people use "jew/jewish" as race whilst truthfully that's a faith. perhaps there is extra tips about that beginning certificates that hasn't been disclosed. the two way, i've got self belief it particularly is does not bare something on who Obama is. one element i've got self belief approximately Obama is... he thinks, i've got self belief, on his own. intently utilising the strategies of "good and incorrect" with a view to habit himself. He does not circulate with the lots. he's his own individual. i like that approximately him. Giving the prospect.....i think of he will make for a extra useful united states of america. Obama 08

The Birther 'Movement' was never about where President Obama was or was not born. It was/is about a group of folk who really wanted to be asking for a "Bill of Sale" so they could point to the SCotUS decision in the Dred Scott v. Sanford. Unfortunately Justice Brandeis was not fully correct as some evil can thrive in the sunlight.

    SOOOOO . . .

Actually, African was used a lot in the fifties and early sixties. But I guess, since you didn't hear it or see it before you were born, then it must not have existed.

edit: You're dreaming. African was a replacement for the N word. It was much later that black people kept switching up what they wanted to be called. It was drilled into my head as a kid to refer to them as Africans.

I have been asking that for quite some time. It would have NEVER been on that forged document. Race would have been listed as "*****"

Why care? Because Obama claimed that the first one was real and it OBVIOUSLY for many reasons was forged and created in Photoshop. If he lied about the first one, it is absurd to say that he is not lying about this one. And either way...we are letting him get away with fraud and he should be in prison.

I contact my legislators weekly on this issue. You LITERALLY have to be sticking your hands in your ears and saying "la la la la la la la" to ignore the fact that the first one was a forgery. This means that NOTHING after that matters. HE IS A FELON!

Roger...nice try, but African is STILL NOT USED on Birth certificates because it is not a race.

President Obama's father wasn't a "*****" he was a Kenyan, from Africa. Why wouldn't he be listed as "African"? And if his father was an African, why is it surprising if Junior were listed as "African"?

But don't give up. Nobody really expected this to end the loony tunes. It just makes it more obvious to sensible folks how far out you guys have gone in your racial/political hatred.

His father was from Africa. In Hawaii, they ask the parent what their race is and put down whatever they say. His father would have naturally stated he was "African."

This info is easily found on the internet.

I don't see anywhere in there that Obama is black and all implications in that birth certificate, points that Obama is mixed.
