The prime reason why they did this NOW, in my view, is distraction. The dollar collapse is getting serious. We are running out of time. It's a psyop to keep us off balance by hitting us with one thing after another so we can't focus on the real issues, like the new wars, and the massive inflation.

It gets the weak-minded all rallying around and kissing the boots of Gov't. Oh thank you dear overlords! You have saved us from the bad man that you created!

Seriously, the way people are celebrating, you'd think it was V-E day or something. Didn't anybody tell them the wars aren't over?

It also helps Obama's image (obviously). Could be the plan is for him to be re-elected, using Trump to split the conservative/independent vote, a la Ross Perot. But they could just as easily put in another puppet Republican, using Obama's unpopularity as a springboard.

All of this Bin Laden theater will be used for geopolitical reasons as well, you can bet on it. For example, our ally Pakistan had been recently complaining about the US constantly killing their people with drone strikes. Bet they'll shut up about that now that they appear duplicitous for "harboring" this fugitive.

I am in the camp that feels OBL was probably already dead. I don't know this, I just strongly suspect it. Why? His death was announced years ago and no one has seen him alive since. Bhutto was murdered shortly after talking about it. Do I believe her? Not necessarily. But I DEFINITELY don't believe this administration, or the Pentagon, or the CIA.

If he were still alive, the CIA would not have needed to make fake videos and then resort to fake audio tapes. They could have just called him up and gotten him in studio...

The Pentagon and criminal insiders running our government have been saving this ace up their sleeve for years, they could have used it at any time. Kind of creeps me out that they are using it now, it means their agenda is moving fast, and they no longer feel the need to dangle his ghost in front of us.

I agree completely with Socrates, but there are a couple more things going on this OBL timing works to cover as well which I will add.

First, America is getting really sick of the perpetual Middle East war. Either this + the hit on Gadhafi are meant to stir up the ant hill over there, to boost moral over here, or perhaps both.

Everyone knows the hate these two things generated, and how many more terrorists we just created.

It's quite likely they will now go all out to do something to retaliate (or maybe even a false flag op).

Second, The MSM has taken this completely out of the news. It sickens me that they would leave America in the dark about this...

However, I think it was very well timed to be directly after Obama's announcing his new campaign for reelection.

Funny how it was all so very bad when Bush was in charge. Obama criticized the war up and down and then got his peace prize. So, Mr. Peace prize now supposedly supervised this entire deal. Ok. So, who is a peaceful person now?

When I can see the evidence myself, that bin Laden planned, plotted and then executed 911, solely by himself & a handful of hijackers. for certain, only then will I believe. When I can see how 911 was funded, how they obtained their visas, who paid for their rent, their flight school, who supported them etc.,. Although bin Laden was wealthy (supposedly), where did his wealth come from & how did he maintain his wealth? Show me his bank accounts, his deposits and where those deposits came from, so I can connect the dots. And most important, who has supported him all these yrs and paid for his dialysis?

Even the best investigative repiorters couldn't begin to find those answers. Everything is classified. When they declassify those papers, say in 30-40 yrs, who is going to care?
