Painless bandage removal?
I have an incision about 1.5 - 2 inches long on my lower back. Dissolving stitches were used. For the most part there is no longer pain, but there is a 6" long x 4" wide bandage and steri strips that need to come off. I have very sensitive skin and whenever I pull...it hurts! The other ones were removed a few days after surgery by the nurse but I want this off. Anyone know how to get it off painlessly?

If you believe that the stitches underneath are completely healed, ask someone (your Mom? bf?) to take a sponge or facecloth, wet it, have you lie down and soak the bandage. The wet will help dissolve the glue on the bandage and it can be taken off quite easily.
