which airline do you prefer?

If you travel to abroad by air, which one will be your option?

1. Only Low cost Airline, no bother about anything.

2. Best Service performance, even if it is higher fare

3. Direct Flight to the final destination to avoid lost baggage at transit point(s)

None of the above. I fly on airlines in the group which get me frequent flyer points so I can use the lounges, sit in better seats and get on the planes first.

Typically I go with an airline where I can earn frequent flier miles, especially if it is a long flight. Though non-stop flight is ideal, I would say a long flight you also want an airline that has good service such as a personal in-flight entertainment system at each seat.

Therefore for me, it would be a combination of 2 and 3 plus an airline that allows me to earn frequent flier miles.

Brand and reputation is the most important consideration. Direct flights preferred, but that isn't always an option.

I prefer low cost direct flight, I always use www.southalltravel.co.uk to booking a flight.

I prefer as few stops as possible and will gladly pay slightly more for certain airlines. I definitely do not choose only by price and avoid budget airlines whenever possible.

2 and 3 for me... I tend to stick to Oneworld airlines anyway (for the frequent flyer points), and they're all pretty good...

  • All 3, as I only fly Southwest
