So, good Christians, should you change your cable provider to save money?

Actually I'd like to hear from people of all philosophies. If you change your cable provider, or internet provider, to save money, that's very wrong, isn't it? So I have Videotron cable, and Bell offers a special deal, but switching would be wrong? You see people who work for Videotron could get laid off, if many people switch. Bell might offer a few of them jobs, at much lower salaries.

We shouldn't think only of ourselves. And in the long term, do we want one big company running everything? I don't think so. What do you think?

I canceled cable because I don't watch tv anymore, and the only internet provider for my area is Comcast.

And yes you should change your cable/internet provider if it saves you money. This isn't a moral question.

When I left my parents at age 18 (as a college sophomore), I decided that I did not have time to watch television, did not care for what it had become (February 1975) and said "As soon as I complete college and miss watching television, then I will watch it again."

I have not missed it yet and I am thankful for this as I have not wasted my time as some of those who watch television do.
