What would you appreciate more, a lie or the truth?

The truth, of course. To me, it means that the person cares enough to give you the most accurate picture they can so you can use it accordingly. A lie is selfish...where the truth is selfless; this is how it is for better or worse. The truth is best because it is the most efficient and smartest way to conduct ourselves; plain and simple.
