What will it take for some cops to not act above the law?
Tell me why do we let Cops treat civillians badly. Not too mention whats going on on the news alot.Cops caught on video tapes, beating, there was 3 cops in chicago who raped a girl, corruption, bulling, being paid by the mob (early generations mostly had this problem) lol Why? Today, i witnessed a friend of mine get being choked by her , then boyfriend.. I called the cops after helping her up, the cops took forever.. Which can be excusable.. but why is it, when they got there, they told us they only had juristriction for the hotel, (IT HAPPEN ON CAMPUS IN FORNT OF THE HOTEL) now these were not hotel security they were chicago police. They said to my friend, that they could not help her.. So i drove her to the police station.. three cops wouldntr even help us, they shrugged us off onto another officer.. because they were too busy talking to to her police.. i personally have hgad cops make gay jokes "hey i think hes checking you out" "call me derogatory sklurs towards my orientation" Make fun of me.. i feel like when you wanna ask questions from them.. like when we first needed to find a police station, they have an attitude.. There jobs, i understand there tough, but ive witnessed police acting out of profession for no reason, and been just dead wrong on the way their acting.. Why is it ok for them to treat law biding citizens with disrespect.. Expecially today they treated that women.. They have seemed to me to be more of a problem than help (except filing the battery report) Do you think so too? PI know there is not much a civilian can do to correct many errors that have been done in the past or even new ones.. cause the way ive always seen them cact, is as if they are bove the law! You may post another question on yahoo asking why people cant write right, if youd like! lol I apologize tfor the blob of mess, I hope i coveyed my point, never the less
btw when we filed the report for battery. we told them about the other cops, and we gave names, the officer said that was wrong.. SO not alot of cops would stand for that kind of attitude.. But never the less it still happened!

Where do we draw cops from? Where do they come from? They come from society naturally. Does it not also hold that a percentage of them drawn from society will have similar weaknesses of character to others in society?
I put to you however that the percentage of cops who are "bad" is much less then the percentage of citizens who are bad.
You and others will complain about conduct issues with police and i will certainly acknowledge that there are those who do have conduct issues. At the same time however, how would you behave if the vast majority of people you dealt with were abusive, argumentative, rude, threatening...... Yes, cops should be able to rise above that but I lead you back to my first comment about them being drawn from society and being human.
Any of them caught breaking the law deserve the same fate as any citizen caught doing the same, if not worse punishment because of the violation of public trust.
