A good skin stain/marker?

I am getting my tattoo but the artist does not recommend to write my quote up because the letters are too small and it will be blurry later. I am fine with that, but the writing is important part of the design so I thought maybe there is a pen/marker out there that I can just hand write the letters ones in awhile. this is a great option because when it fades I can just rewrite it and not have to worry about a messy tattoo. 
Now the question is; is there a product out there to write small scale letters with and stay on for awhile? a "henna" pen?

Well henna doesn't really come in pen form, but you could still use it. Or perhaps just a regular felt tip pen? I mean it's not great for your skin, but once in a while won't hurt you.

Another option is to have the lettering tattooed, but just do it bigger. The bigger you go, the longer it will be legible.

Greta,I respect you for that and desire I might say the equal. However, I am very skinny skinned and get harm very without difficulty. Well, allow me rephrase that: I am very skinny skinned emotionally with the persons I realize, thick skinned in terms of persons I do not know. I get stubborn out everyday at paintings, so I must be little thick skinned on account that I must nonetheless smile and say "Let me repair that for you sir or mam". Physcially, I am lovely difficult. I obtained shot within the head with a sippy cup the previous day and that was once a GOOD day LOL! Have a high-quality day and hold that feel dermis, however not ever be afraid to be a bit of "medium" skinned typically! Scooter: Quit telling experiences :P
