Is the 4L60E tranny out of a 98' Blazer the same as the 4L60E in a 97' suburban?

Just want to know if they are a direct swap or do i have to take parts off the suburban tranny to make the one from the blazer work in it.

Update:

Both are full size 4x4's

they should be the same but if the 1 in the suburban is 2 wheel drive and your blazer is 4 wheel drive and you want to use the 1 out of the suburban you will have to change the tail shaft for the transfer case to fit.

As long as they are both 2x4 or both 4x4 it should be an easy swap. If one is 4x and the other is 2x its not easy. The output shafts are different between the 4x and 2x and the output shaft is the first thing in and last thing out of the transmission case so its a lot of work to swap em. This is also assuming that the Blazer is a 4.3 v6. The smaller blazer motors used a different transmission mount.
