Christians: Do You Believe The Rapture Will Be A Physical Event?
Like, do you believe people will begin to randomly disappear or start floating into the sky or any other such physical occurrance?
OR, do you believe that it is something that happens on the spiritual side of things, or even after death?

Just as The Inspired Word Reveals. 1 Thessalonians 4 (Amplified Bible) 13Now also we would not have you ignorant, brethren, about those who fall asleep [[g]in death], that you may not grieve [for them] as the rest do who have no hope [beyond the grave].
14For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will also bring with Him through Jesus those who have fallen asleep [[h]in death].
15For this we declare to you by the Lord's [own] word, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord shall in no way precede [into His presence] or have any advantage at all over those who have previously fallen asleep [in Him [i]in death].
16For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud cry of summons, with the shout of an archangel, and with the blast of the trumpet of God. And those who have departed this life in Christ will rise first.
17Then we, the living ones who remain [on the earth], shall simultaneously be caught up along with [the resurrected dead] in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so always (through the eternity of the eternities) we shall be with the Lord!
18Therefore comfort and encourage one another with these words.

We do know that we will be changed...Jesus ascended in a transformed body and with the REsurected model he walked thorugh walls . WE know that death is a transfromation and the bible says that we shall not all die. So this corrupt body will put on incoruption. It will be a historic event and those who miss it will enter the tribulation shortly after. I have moved cities. and am currently back where I used to live. I got together with many business associaste who do not know the Lord and I just listened to them speak of the growing aprehension for the future and the warning Jesus gave about mens hearts failing them for fear of what is coming and he also said (luke) to pray that you are counted worthy to escape those things coming upon the earth and to stand before the son of man. I see this as great hope as we come to Jesus as look for his mercy and grace to seperate the jsut from the unjust just liek the two examples of the flood and sodom where God removed the just before bringing the judgment. As event progress wars, economic peril, food shortages we can see these things are excelerating. Jesus also compared the end times to a woman in brith pangs. This is good because ever since Israel became a nation again people have been pointing out the pregnant woman. But she was not in labor. Now the world can see the and feal the birth pangs and we recognize there is no plateau where life will normalize it is slipping away from the average man who has no control. The rapture is near because we can see th tribualtion in the horizon.

I don’t believe the Bible teaches there will be “a rapture” for the following reasons.
1. The word “rapture” is not in the Bible. So, let's examine to see if the concept taught by many is in the scriptures.
2. It is said that the rapture will be a “secret” coming of Christ, but the verses cited as being the ones that primarily talk about “a rapture” say that Christ will come with a “loud command”, “the voice of the archangel”, and a “trumpet will sound”! (example, 1 Thes. 4:16)
3. Some mention Matthew 24. In this context, 3 questions were asked and answered. The questions in verse 3 are:
“When will these things be?” (“These things” = destruction of temple: verse 2)
What will be the signs of your coming?
What will be the signs… of the end of the age?
4. The answer about the destruction of the temple and the destruction of Jerusalem is included from verse 4 through 36.
It refers to “those days”.
It refers to signs.
Instructs believers to flee to hills. (Why would it matter if they were in the hills or in the city if this is speaking of a repture? The same with those being with child and it being in winter. Why would this matter if it was talking about a rapture?)
It says that this will happen in “this generation”.
This was accomplished in 70 AD.
5. The answer to the question about the end of the age (end of time) begins in verse 37.
Instead of “those days” it tells about “that day”.
It says there will be no signs.
No one knows when it will happen.
The righteous shall be rewarded in that day and the evil will be assigned a place where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
6. “Rapture” teaches that the righteous will be taken away and the sinful will be “left behind”.
Matthew 24 teaches that some will be taken and others left. It will be “just like the days of Noah” (verse 37).
In the days of Noah, normal life was going on. (verse 38)
Then the flood came and “took them all away”.
The evil were taken away (swept away) by the flood. (Verse 39)
“So shall the coming of the son of man be” (verse 39).
It will be Sudden. Without prior warning.
Jesus shall come and the evil will be told, “Depart from me” (Matt 25:41)
The evil will be taken away and the righteous will be left in the presence of Jesus. (In the place to which Jesus has come.)
The “Rapture” doctrine has the wrong ones being “taken”.
7. The flood of Noah was not a “secret” or quiet event where the evil did not see it when it happened.
Many people, including Mr. Camping, have predicted the rapture at various dates.
The Bible, however, says that if a person predicts something and it does not come to pass, then they have spoken presumptuously, they are a false prophet, and therefore we should not listen to them.
“When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.” (Deut 18:22)
Harold Camping previously predicted the rapture would happen in 1994. He said the righteous would be taken away by Christ, and the evil would be left behind.
Well 1994 has come and gone, and he is still with us! This leaves only two possibilities.
Either Harold Camping is a false prophet, in which case we should not listen to him!
OR
The rapture happened just like he said, and he was left behind, which by his own teaching, would mean he is not a true follower of God!
Either way, he doesn’t look too good!
When Jesus returns, the Earth will be destroyed. (2 Peter 3:10) There will be no earth for anyone to be "left behind" on. It will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night, just like the flood in the days of Noah. Normal life will continue right up to the end, and then Christ will come suddenly, the earth will be destroyed, and we will each face our judgment.
Since the rapture did not happen in September of 1994, why are people listening to him now?

all and sundry will see Jesus, and all of us will renowned Him as Lord. Even people who're against Him. i do no longer think it will be a pre trib rapture. Neither do think of it will be pre wrath rapture, for the justifications you're saying. Jesus mentioned he will return formerly issues get so undesirable that no one will proceed to exist. To me that factors to someplace after the mid factor in the seventh week of Daniel. If we live vigilant we can see signs and indicators. yet won't understand the proper time till it happens. Jesus's parrable of the silly and smart virgins and their lamps additionally factors to this. We would desire to be alert and arranged. For no-one is conscious the day the grasp will return. 21“For then there will be super tribulation, including has no longer been because of the fact the start of the worldwide till this time, no, nor ever would be. 22“And except those days have been shortened, no flesh could be saved; yet for the decide for’s sake those days would be shortened. Matthew 24:21-22 And there will be a time of hassle, including on no account replaced into considering that there replaced right into a usa, Even to that factor. And at that factor your people would be further, each and every individual who's got here upon written in the e book. Daniel 12:a million Beulah
