What religion fits this general description?
What would be considered a laid back and peaceful religion that promotes secularism, mutual respect and religious plurality? Please read ALL of the following.
Please give objective answers, I don't wanna hear this "Accept Catholicism/Hinduism/Islam or go to hell" crap. That's exactly the type of thing I'm looking to avoid. No one likes those people.
I generally believe in God and Jesus...
I don't believe in "one world religion" and I certainly don't want theocratic law ruling over common law (hint).
I believe in religious plurality, absolute secularism, and the right to privately worship as you see fit while embracing that others do the same.
I find it abhorrent that many religions persecute gay people. God loves everyone, especially his gay children since he made them so damn stylish!
God is LOVE to me... Not vengeful or conniving or hateful. He is peace and respect.
Honestly, I wish I could become a Jainist or a Zen Buddhist, but I love meat too much and there isn't a very big population of either where I am.

This is a religion which you have made up - if you take the Christian God and Jesus stuff you do also need the eternal hell bit particularly for gays. I love the sound of your religion but it does not exist. :(

Hypocrite! You want people to believe in what you believe in and say your plural? We will as a species never ever agree on religion and to do so would be foolish.All religions contradict each other so we will never agree. As for homosexuals I think they are Hetero-phobes.They always trump up some stupid reason for why they are gay and the only reason is their will.The gays want you to go against what you believe and support what you don't believe,why don't the gays do the same?

You can eat meat and be a Buddhist, most of them do and the Buddha refused to make that a requirement. Thikh Nhat Hanh is not Shakyamuni.
