Was this a dream or a movie?
I had a dream a few nights ago that stuck with me.
I was taken into this complex with a lot of other people, but I was always in a small white room with several other people and we all wore white. Sometimes I recognized them as people I knew, some I had simply seen in other rooms. There were weird people who would come in and test one person in front of the others. These tests were bizarre and had fatal consequences. The only way to leave was to get someone to take your place. I eventually found someone to take my place after I explained to them how to get out themselves. After that I was debreifed by one of the people that it was a project to restart human evolution...I had been judged as one of 'the fit'. I left and it was over.
Was this just an awesome and scary dream, or did I get this from somewhere? I admit after having it I immediately thought of the book 1984, but that book made me imagine dirty old rooms while my dream was pristine and futuristic.

Sounds like an X-Files episode to me
sorry I can't think of a movie like this
EDIT: Cube Series (Cube, Cube 2: Hypercube, Cube Zero) is very interesting series
It's about a government experience about putting people in cubes
These people wake up in a cube with their memory totally wiped off
The cube they are in have 6 doors every time they open any door there's another identical cube on the other side
(not exactly the same as yours dream but just pointing an interesting strange movie)

I'm fairly certain it wasn't a movie, but definitely should be. That's a great dream you had, and being able to remember so much of it makes it all the better. You should type out as much of it as you can with as much detail as you remember. You'll highly enjoy reading it in 10 years once it's been long forgotten.

Oh I have an idea about this! Is it maybe "the steam room" with val kilmer? I know it doesn't fit all of what you said, but maybe you got the idea from this.
