How do you use your Disney World park hopper ticket?

Through my wifes place of work we purchased some Disney World park hopper tickets through a discount program that they have. They are some normal paper tickets we got through the mail. A relative said that their tickets are usually like a hard plastic credit card. Any help on how we are to use these tickets will be appreciated. Do we check these tickets in somewheres and receive some others after? Thanks

Don't worry, many people have the same type of tickets you have too.

Some have credit card hoppers because they might've gotten them from a resort, like what me and my family usually do.

When you get into the park just put your tickets through the slot machine and press your finger into the scanner and they will let you through. The same Park Hopper will appear on the other side after you go through the gate.

A park hopper means you can go from one park to another.

Plus, you only have to pay for parking once a day. You can leave out of maybe Magic Kingdom and go over to Animal Kingdom and they will not charge you twice.

Also a Park Hopper can be used for Fast Passes.

It's free and the most popular rides have them.

They will have a Fast Pass station by the ride and you just stick the Park Hopper into the machine like how you did when you first go into the park and a Fast Pass will appear.

You come back at the times they tell you to and you can skip the long lines.

You can only use one of your Park Hopper tickets each for one ride.

You cannot get a Fast Pass and let's say, Space Mountain and then go right over to Splash Mountain and get another for that ride. They won't let you until a specific time.

So think wisely for a ride you really want to go on but also has a REALLY long line.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is very long, so I would use it for that one. Plus Soarin' is RIDICULOUS! It's over 100 minute wait, so I would definitely get Fast Passes for that ride straight away.

Make sure you get them early because they will sell out for rides like Soarin' or Test Track before 12.

I hope you and your wife have fun! :)

You use the tickets you got in the mail multiple times. When you go to one park, you just slide the ticket in and keep it. Than when you go to the next park, you use the same ticket again.
