Which dog food brand do your dogs enjoy eating the best?
I was feeding my dogs Natural Balance Potato and Duck dry food. They recently changed the formula and two of my dogs are having allergy and digestion problems. I have been trying other quality brands, but they don't like the taste. The Petco manager recommended Nutro Herring and
Rice and they loved it. I looked it up on dogfoodanalysis.com and it is rated very low (2 stars out of 6). They can't eat chicken or lamb. Can anyone recommend a good quality food that tastes good?

I feed Blue Buffalo Fish and Sweet Potato. My dog also has allergies and he's been doing great on it.

Not a big fan for Nutro (sorry Petco employees are trained by the manufacture reps). If you ask my dogs they will tell you Blue Buffalo (they like it way to much and gained weight on it). Now they eat Evanger's White Fish and Sweet Potato. Read the labels, find a food that had meat as the first ingredient. Would you eat it? If not don't expect your dog to eat it.
Evanger's is not grain free ( if your dog has allergies it is not the best for them) but my dogs do well on it, and that is important find a food your dog does well on.

Orijen 6 Fish
Acana Pacifica
Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream
Dog foods are regulated by AAFCO (very loosely, they only visit once per year, if that). This is the same organization that feels it's okay to feed chicken to chickens and beef to cattle (can u say mad cow?). I wouldn't trust their opinion on feeding a dead dog, let alone my pets. Whole Dog Journal rates dog foods and the 3 I listed are considered some of the best. They do not accept advertising or sponsors of any kind so they are able to give unbiased opinions.

My dog wasn't eating very well for a while and I finally found Orijen. My dog loves it. It smells very yummy and it is high quality. They have different varieties and my dog likes the fish the best. She also likes the red meat. You should google it and read about it. It is a good quality, high protein mixture that is easily digestible and tastes great (according to my dog).
Good Luck!

Merrick 5 star dog food is really good. The wilderness formula is awesome it is a venison base. Also blue buffalo, pinnacle, innova, solid gold and halo are excellent foods. don't listen to the people that recommend pedigree and kibbles and s h i t s. lol

My dog *loves* Blue Buffalo brand.
This dog has never really enjoyed any food before (even a raw diet), but now licks the bowl clean after each meal.

With the exceptions of Beneful, Alpo, Pedigree and Ol Roy, anything you feed your dog will be better than Nutro.

when it comes to feeding your dog, i have found this issue is so commonly asked but it's great to ask cause you want the best for your pup! i foster dogs for a rescue and often times they are very under weight so i like to feed premium dog food. heres a list of good foods. also i have a great dane so as instructed by my vet i feed him 3 times a day, full bowl, half cup of cheese (100% natural) and a cup of oatmeal. mostly because he too was under weight and danes are different from most dogs. if they start to lose weight, they spiral quickly. so heres a list of good foods. ive used several of these
Natural Balance
Canidae
Solid Gold
Innova
Eagle Pack
Chicken Soup for the pet lovers soul
Timberwolf Organics
Back to Basics
These are all poor quality foods...
Pedigree
Ol'Roy
Beneful
Science Diet
All Purina and Pro Plan foods
Diamond
Iams
Nutro
Eukanuba
also b.a.r.f is something to consider (biologically appropriate raw food)
Raw feeding is the practice of feeding domestic dogs, cats and other animals a diet primarily of uncooked meat, edible bones, and organs.Supporters of raw feeding believe that the natural diet of raw meat, bones, and organs is superior nutritionally to highly processed commercial pet food. They mimic a similar diet for their domestic companion, as it is believed that a balanced raw diet has the benefits of giving the animal a healthier coat, cleaner teeth and breath, reduced stool volume and odor, and better overall health. They are commonly opposed to commercial pet foods, which they believe are detrimental to an animal's health.

The 'dogfoodanalysis' you mention is a site run by companies who market premium dog foods. So of course they list the most expensive varieties as the best. As long as the food you buy says "complete and nutritional" then you are good to go. My vet says their is no reason to pay premium prices for pet food. It's just a marketing gimmick-like buying bottled water. There is basically no difference between any of the expensive foods and good old Purina Dog Chow which has been around forever. Expensive dog foods are based on your ego,not your dogs nutritional needs. As long as the food says 100% completely balanced nutrition" it's fine for your dog. Dog foods are monitored by the Dept of Agriculture and "100% completely balanced" is a legal term as far as dog foods go.My dogs eat (and love )Authority(Petsmart house brand) Lamb and Rice.

Your son will never get a balanced meal from eating dog food!!! If you cant take care of him please turn him into social services so someone who knows what to do can raise him.
