Topsy Turvy Strawberry Planter

they actually make a topsy turvy designed for strawberries. It has 15 plant holes all around it. We loaded two up with ever-bearing strawberry plants from Gurneys.com and they seem to be doing well. I used 70% miracle grow potting soil and 30% composted manure. The plants are doing well and have several white berries on them with the first one turning as we speak.Don't really think they are doing any better than they would in a regular pot or hanging basket. But you get a lot more surface areafor planting with the topsy turvey all else being equal,

Yes, the topsy turvey tomato planter can be used for strawberries. So can big soda bottles. They can hang too. Buckets too, for tomatoes and peppers. They need good drainage holes.

last year i used my topsy turvey tomato and put strawberries in it. they produced like wild flowers it was awesome, but this year i put tomatoes in it. if u put a raw egg with the roots around it , it helps with nutrients and produces bigger and more quantities of vegetables
