Henke Anisette? What is it?

I was given a bunch of old bottles of alcohol a friends dad had in a cabinet. There are two bottles of 1970 rye whiskey, japanese sake and a bottle of Henke Anisette. I am unable to find any info on the anisette or the henke brand.

Update:

there is a label over the cap that seals it and it says Bottle G229660 . I am unable to find a date on it.

Anisette is "A white, somewhat syrupy style of liqueur with a strong aniseed flavor. It's usually consumed neat, but is often included in cocktails and mixed drinks."

Aniseed tastes like "liquorice, fennel and tarragon."
