Typically a bachelors degree is a four year degree while an associates is a two year degree, so based simply on number of credits necessary, absolutely it's more expensive.

However, since you already or will already have an associates degree, two more years should come at about the same cost, unless you are transferring to a different university. I got my Associates degree for around $80 a credit hour, and my Bachelors degree was around $350 a credit hour, but I changed schools.

I would say that if you remain at your current school, the cost will be a about the same as your associates.

I assume you are at a community college, since that is the only place to get an associates degree; so you will have to transfer somewhere to get a bachelors--so yes it will be quite a bit more expensive. CC's are dirt cheap. State colleges are the least expensive for a bachelors.

Yes your bachelors will cost more per year, even at a state university.
