where can I find the blue book value of dodge ram 1500 with blown motor?
Im having trouble finding the value of my 2002 dodge ram 1500 sport for free online? It has a 5.9v8 motor with cracked heads but body is in good to fair condition. No rust and slight oxidation. Its white and the sports model with aluminum mags ftom factory. What do you think I should sell it for? I live in south texas and ive got intetested parties but have no clue what to ask for it
Since the heads are crack. Ive located a rebuilt motor for $1,050 so with my mechanic friend I could get it going for around $1500 but I dont have $1500. You think I could get $1000. The original motor had 87,000 miles. I cracked the heads cuz it overheated . The guage wasnt working at the time so I had no idea how hot I got it. It would turn over just of course wouldnt run cuz water coming thru exhaust. I mentioned new motor instead of replacing just the heads cuz I dont know if I did any further damage. The block still maybe good just didnt want to invest in new heads and then find out later there was damage to block or rings etc...

book value is book value less however much it costs to get running plus about $1000 less for the aggravation factor.
But it would be hard to get that because someone is going to have to tow it away and then work on it.
You might be lucky to get $400-600 for it.

Kelly blue book web site and put down worst condition and that should give you an estimate

blue book cannot evaluate a car that does not work, their service mostly applies to gently-used and servicable cars
haul it to a salvage yard and you might get 200 to 500 for it,
private sale might go for more but i would top out at 600, because transportation, etc must be arranged

You will have to go to Kelly Bluebook's site.. 1993 Ram, sure.. how many miles, AC, no AC, CD player,etc.etc. etc.etc.etc.etc. you need to get specific about features, condition, etc to get an accurate estimate of how much your vehicle is worth.
