It's hard to find good numbers. Here's a guy who just turned 90, it was in the news. You need enough data for life expectancy estimates, and there are just not enough old people who have been treated with insulin their whole lives, since they only discovered and synthesized insulin in about 1922. So if you had got one of those first injections very young, and lived all this time, you would now be...about 90!

I don't think we want to consider the life expectancy of children diagnosed with Type 1 before the discovery of insuin. They didn't usually last much more than a year or two, even with the severely restriced carb diets they diagnosed back then.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

There real is no absolute answer to your question.

There are many type 1 diabetics that have led relatively normal lives well into their 60's or longer. others have suffered the serious consequences due to not being educated enough about diabetes. Insulin is a wonderful and essential help for type 1's however it takes serious life style changes from early on to make a difference without that the life expectancy will be greatly reduced.
