Looking for Creative Father's Day Ideas?

I want to do something different and unique for my husband this year for Father's Day. Not that there's anything wrong with the regular Father's Day gifts (that's what I've been giving the fathers in my life) but this year I wanted to give him something a little different and something that would mean something- something he could look back on 20 years from now and it holds something special for him... but I'm not creative at all and need some ideas! Thank you

My kid drew with permanent markers on a T-Shirt for me. It's my prized possession.

A bit late now but, Shutterfly has lots of interesting things you can make including books.

    Well...

Picture story book. Put together pictures of your kids throughout the years and but a little story line to it. I did this for my dad a coupld years a go and he loved it. He showed it to everyone. You can do it on sites like shutterfly or walmart/kmart type stores. Easy to make and easy to look back on all the times you've had through the years.

Depending on the age of your children-

t-shirt with hand prints on them...with a saying like "anyone can be a father, it takes someone special to be a daddy"

    A quilt...

Have each child design a square or two...depending on how many you want personalize....have someone use them as to make a quilt.

    IF you can needle point:

    something such as a shirt...blanket...hat...

with the dates he became a father and the names of the child on it

    A slideshow/dvd presentations

find some songs that have special meaings/ that have to do with being a great dad. and put pictures throughout the year. You can add words and it can be enjoyed many years to come.

    Good luck.

Take a wallet length image of her and slightly locket of her hair and laminate the hair with the picture and position it in a sparkling wallet alongside with a present card to his popular shop/eating position.
