Justice Hegde is a good and honest person.

Kiran Bedi is good too, there are many people in India who can fit into the bill.

Why should Sweden search for us.

The point is we should have highly educated, honest, humble simple and dedicated people who are already rich and has no greed for money.

Come on now.Don't you think that your statement that "it is impossible to find any Indian to fit the bill of Lokpal" is a little too sweeping? In a nation of over a billion people,to say none is worthy to be appointed as the Lokpal is,in my view,a little too facetious. You are however entitled to your opinion.

    Have a Good Day.

Edit:-While I concede that there is some force in your argument,it cannot be gainsaid that in sports, the officials outnumber the participants who have to struggle for getting any facility to improve their talent to world standards.Cricket is under the strangle hold of a chosen few who do not like new entrants and also the coach's and the players' main aim is to win matches and keep the moolah within the select few and group. And as for the 30 crore population taking 30 years to drive 30,000 Britishers from the country, let it not be forgotten that we have been a nation given to being ruled and being slaves which mentality continues what with the dynastic politics we have, where every two bit politician has started treating the

block/district/constituency/last but not the least the whole country as their personal fiefdom.Don't you think it is time that we threw these shackles and rise like the people of Egypt did?

The mindset behind ur question is unfortunate. It is because of the negative attitude that we do not progress. Lok Pal is an Indian Post and not open to international competition. And how do u come to the conclusion that all people in all other countries are saints? For instance, IMF Chief Strauss Kahn? Italian Prime Minister Berlusconi? Corruption is an international phenomenon. Our situations and people can only be understood by an Indian. If Anna Hazare is the first Lok Pal, who will take over after him? In sports, we are slowly but steadily getting into various disciplines like shooting, weightlifring, tennis, bad minton etc., where there were none earlier. Our industrial and agricultural output is increasing annually, both qualitatively and base wise. Corruption did not erupt all of a sudden; because it was not controlled, right from the Bofors era, it has grown into a monster. Changes will come but slowly, given the nature and complexities of the problems involved. Wait and see.

No way. How could any non Indian help our cause? Get over colonial past. I think we have them in plenty. For example, Santhosh Hegde. They are quite honest people and never intimidated by politicians.
