how to clean stain off plastic pool ladder?
so we let our pool get nasty over the winter//spring let leaves get in it and never cleaned it out. water became very green and filled with scum and decomposing leaves. we have put in a new liner beause it ruint the old one and i am now trying to clean a foot and a falf of stain off the lower part oof the ladder. i have tried scrubbing it off with bleach and its getting a little off but not very noticiable amount. any suggestions of how to clean this brown stain off? i dont have to have it completely white. but light brown is better than dark brown! please and thank you!! something will have to work

There are 2 items we use at work that are awesome and alot of times if one won't work, the other will. They are " Goof Off" & " Spray 9 ". Both are great cleaners/stain removers that you can get online or at most hardware or paint stores.

Jack's Magic Step Stuff is a wonderful product to use to remove those ugly brown stains on you're swimming pool white fiberglass steps. The steps and other plastic fittings are what the metals in you're swimming pool effect first. They turn brown or yellow.

Try putting CLR in a large bucket and set the ladder in it. Let it set for a day or two and see if that works.

I too have a hamster besides the undeniable fact that the purely threat-free way is to sparkling his section extra in many circumstances so the foodstuff is sorta nonetheless sparkling and not in any respect decomposing. u might want to attempt soaking them in paint thinner for 10/20 minutes.
