Well it is a lot easier than you think, but it takes getting into a habit. Start by praying every morning and night and before something important is coming. Also, during your day, you have time to think to yourself about the things that are going on, so instead of thinking to yourself, think to God. Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. So in any situation, good or bad, think of what God wants you to get out of this and how he wants you to act. It really helps but like I said it takes a little time to get into the habit.

I feel as if I can help you even though I'm not...A Christian. So, I have to balance relationships, school, and work along with my devotion to my deities. What I found most helpful to connect with them is to read devotionals, articles, or books about my religion every day. Even if it's just a paragraph, sometimes it can be uplifting. Read a bit of your Bible everyday, or a devotional book. Sometimes I light a candle for my deities and I immediately feel a connection. Is there small things that you can do for you God every single day? Do you have a morning and evening prayer? Try to come up with small things that you can do everyday... That helps me out the most. I don't do rituals every day (compare to going to church) but instead I do small things.
Maybe that would help a little bit...

When we first got married, we decided to read Pilgrim's Progress together. Not just a quicky version either the old ones from the 1800s have lots of comments on it that are really important to understanding John Bunyan's meanings. So each night we would read some. It was a very nice thing to go together.
Another suggestion throw out the TV

well, I am quite busy myself. I am way younger but I am currently in 2 sports, have a part-time job, have a social life, church, and family time. I have a hard time doing devotionals because of lack of time. What I decided to do is whenever I go into the car I have my dad put on some christian speakers and I listen to them. When I go to work out (which I assume you exercise) I listen to christian music, and more importantly the words. You can pray anywhere you go. While your in traffic you can sit there and pray with your eyes on the road. Right before you go to bed read a chapter in the bible. This doesn't take that much time at all. You can lay in your bed and think how it relates to your life, and how he is speaking to Christians everywhere. I feel that we always will have time if you want to have time for Him.

I just try to keep him first in my mind. I'm married with three kids, life is busy. We should just remember that we should not love the world, we should love God. Pray daily, read the Bible when you can, treat others well. I hope that answered your question.

the main necessary situation to me in my devotional existence, is an open coronary heart to pay attention from God. examining the interest of God and meditating on it, facilitates me stay near to God, as He nicely-knownshows His will to me, My prayer time is significant too, because of the fact it has replace into extra of a time to pay attention recently. when I do pray for requests, that turns into extra specific when I pay attention to Him, and permit Him to steer me in my prayers

i would take 5 minutes to read a verse and then think on it all day long what god was saying how it applies

Start out with some good worship/Praise music, and then get into the word - start in Psalms.
here are some good songs to start with.......
