Homemade remedy to get pimples to go away?
I've been searching the internet for homemade remedies to get pimples to go away. I need something simple and easy. Tried toothpaste and it burned. I read baking soda seems to have side effects and can burn sensitive skin. Does honey work? My pimples won't go away! I've been cleansing my face, eating healthy, and drinking water. Please help!
@Michelle All I have for tea tree oil is a tea tree oil foot scrub.

Things like toothpaste are harsh on your skin and can cause more irritation down the line.
Honey is excellent because it soothes and kills bacteria.

Aspirin mask. Buy some UNCOATED aspirin tablets. Place 2-3 pills in your hand or in a dish or bowl. Sprinkle a few drops of water on the pills. They should begin to swell up and dissolve. Add more water if you need to, until it becomes a paste. Apply all over your face. Avoid eyes, nostrils, and lips. Leave it for a few minutes. Rinse it off completely, rub the powder in gentle circles on your face as you rinse to exfoliate. Pat dry. Moisturize. You should feel a difference immediately. You can do this everyday if you like. Most recommend a few times a week. Make sure to wear sunscreen if you go out during the day, since this treatment makes your skin more sensitive to sunlight. The salycilic acid in aspirin takes off a very thin layer of your skin, exposing newer, clearer, and smoother skin. You can research more about it online.

tea tree oil works wonders!
it is an all natural antiseptic/anti-bacterial oil.
if you have some at home, you can mix a drop or two with a very gentle cleanser (like cetaphil) and use it with luke warm (never hot) water to wash your face twice (any more frequently and you'll irritate the skin) per day.
or, you can purchase a cleanser that already contains the oil (i love desert essence face wash).
i've suffered horrible acne for 15 years, and this is the only thing that is both mild and strong enough, while still being all natural, that works for me. not even expensive RX's have worked as well.
you can purchase the face wash or the oil alone at just about any natural foods store, or amazon has it for super cheap.
best wishes :)

well here's something my husband made at home but be careful not to over do it he has oily skin and says that he used to have a bad complexion when he was "younger" he only 28 but anyway he use some fresh lemon juice and a little bit honey(or just use half a lemon with out squeezing the juice and rub it on your pimples) then used it as a scrub be careful you dont leave the lemon juice on so long its acid and will irritate your skin dont forget to close your eyes if it over dries your skin use a moisturizer for your face...also my best friend has really complexion and she uses dove sensitive bar soap good luck
