What random, selfless act of kindness did you receive today?

This is a great question. I got a breakfast sandwich this morning and the guy working had a very genuine interest in being nice. You know how you can tell when someone asks how you are today and they mean it? Compared to when they say it because it is their job. Anyway it just made my mood a little better.

Something great happened today!! I came to work and had an anonymous donation on my desk for my son. We have been saving to buy a braille note. They are about $8000. I think the people I work with gathered the money but it was $1600!! I couldn't believe it! I just cried.

Recieve? No, that does not happen to me. I do the random acts. Another neighborhood girl just got an anonymous dentist account paid for her, I get to be grumpy old neighbor with a secret. Yes, that was me who did it but don't tell anyone, bad for my reputation.

Revived - none today really, only from a close friend that dosent live near me, sent me a package full of sweets and stuff you can't buy in this country. But none from people I don't really know.

This morning my coworker gave me a book to read since I am having trouble with my mother...it is called "the dance of anger..." she thinks it will give me some great insight on dealing with relationships. It made me feel good that she thought about me...

i replaced into abode all day so i did not have contact with strangers. yet I did patiently watch for my cat to have a lengthy time period outside on his leash even as I waited for him to chew on grass, roll contained in the dirt, and seem at each very last element that moved. Yeah, i replaced into affected human being with my cat. That replaced into my act of kindness for the day.
