yes in terms of market value...infact mtech r capable for applying in more specified fields....but its better if u do ur mtech from a well reputed institute..so if u r gettin a dual degree form a reputed institute go for it..otherwise if urs institute is not dat grt go for btech only..n u may den clear gate etc later on ..
infact d basic difference is only dat u specialize in a specified field..n d course is generally same till 3rd yr..
